Adding Nicknames for an Email Address (i.e., Forwarding or Aliases)

In Google Apps, as an administrator, you can setup email addresses that 'forward' to an existing email account by using nicknames.

Forwarding

  1. Navigate to Organization & users.
  2. Click the name of the user whose email account you want to have other email addresses forward to.
  3. Under Nicknames, click the Add a nickname link.
  4. Enter the email address you want to forward to this user in the text field.
  5. Click the Save changes button.

(Non-admin users can forward mail from their Gmail account to another email account via Mail Settings – Forwarding and POP/IMAP – Add a forwarding address.
